Poor Customer Service (2017-02-24 08:45:31)

Took me 3 hours to get int the unit because the card keys didn't work. 1st thing, parking was supposed to be in a garage next door, but ended up in Lot A down the hotel ramp to a public parking lot by the docks. Check-in was supposed be at 4, but was informed that the unit would be ready by 4:20 Got there at 4:45, and the cleaning crew was still there, so we left our bags in the unit and just told the crew that we're going back out so they would complete what they were doing. One of the crew mentioned that he was having problem with the door card access key, and I was hoping that they would at least have it resolved prior to turning it over to us. Got back that evening, and started to have issues with the door card, to which I sent an e-mail and complained. We went out the next day, and upon returning before noon, couldn’t access our room for the next 3 hours. I sent multiple e-mails, texts, made phone calls and not enough follow-up from their customer service. Here’s what occurred during various phone conversations: - Requested to have the cleaning crew or anyone get over to try to open the door - Contacted a lock smith, who happens to be on another job and will be over to change locks once he’s done - Contact other lock smiths who are not on a job and get them over ASAP - An arrangement with hotel security has been mail, to have them re-calibrate the key • This took about 45 minutes because security had to call the owner/agent requesting for permission We had stared to have issues again after 5 days, and I informed the agent via e-mail, text and phone call. Had to wait for the locksmith the following day and would require them a trip to Home Depot to buy a new lock and an additional 1.5 hours to replace. Told them we’re on vacation and don’t have time for this, and that they should replace the lock after we have checked-out. I had requested to see if hotel security would be able to re-key the card. Took a while to response, and was told that upon returning back to the unit to head for security. Waited for another 40 plus minutes for verification and permission. Our ordeal of trying to get inside the unit could have been eliminated if they had changed the locks from a card activated to a key lock prior to any new tenants moving in. Or, have the keys re-calibrated by security and providing 2 keys instead of one as a back-up. Also, security didn’t have an authorized list from the owner of people from the from the agency I had requested to have a manager contact me on 2/14, and 10 days after -> still have not heard from them.
